Mayor Henderson, in collaboration with other members of the community, is compiling a list of resources for animal rescues, retrievals and rehabilitation. Please note that the handling of injured or sick animals, domestic or wild, comes with risk and is in some cases illegal. The city does not recommend collecting, handling or transporting such animals but would nonetheless like to provide contact information for entities trained and authorized to do so. The city does not endorse any of the entities listed, but rather provides this information as a public service. If you know of other resources that could be added to this list, please email all the pertinent information to Mayor Henderson at shenderson@mygulfport.us.

Thank you for caring.
