Art Center Application for Class Instructor

Thank you for your interest in teaching classes at the Gulfport Art Center.

Please note, in addition to the following information, selected teachers will be required to fill out a city vendor form to be filled out as well as a current 1099 form.

All instructors are hired on a per-class basis. Though all applicants are considered, City of Gulfport staff will make the decision on those who will instruct classes based on Art Center scheduling, experience of instructor, cost, and whether another instructor is already teaching that specific medium. The City of Gulfport will run a background check on the individual applying for the teaching position.

The Gulfport Art Center reserves the right to amend or update this Code of Conduct/Use Policy as needed. Participants will be notified of any changes in a timely manner.

Instructor payment is based on a flat rate per hour.
