Want to be more connected and involved in Gulfport?  Join other Gulfport residents and business owners to learn about citizen-led projects contributing to our community’s unique character and resiliency. Hosted by Ward 1 Council Member, April Thanos, participants are invited to bring their own ideas and talents to community projects.

As part of an ongoing commitment to community improvement, there will be presentations on several current or potential projects designed to enrich Gulfport life. These projects include: native planting around retention ponds, organizing block parties to foster neighborhood cohesion, welcoming to newcomers through our “Welcome to Gulfport” program and implementing additional rain gardens for environmental sustainability.

All members of our community are invited to actively participate in this process. Your input and ideas are invaluable for us to shape the future of Gulfport together. Whether you have a project in mind or simply wish to contribute to existing endeavors, please  join us at this Town Hall Meeting. Let’s harness the collective talent and experiences of our diverse community to bring these projects to fruition. Together, we can create positive change, forge new connections, and make Gulfport an even more vibrant and welcoming place for all.
