  • American Legion Post 125. Veterans organization dedicated to service, patriotism, and community support.
  • Art in the Yard. Gulfport’s community art sale is a bi-annual event in March and November. It is open to all Gulfport residents who are artists.
  • Birds in Helping Hands. Dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured or orphaned birds, with a focus on raptors, and educating the public about wildlife conservation.
  • Boca Ciega Yacht Club and Sea Scouts – Boy Scouts of America Sea Scout program, Ship 915, is organized to promote better citizenship and to improve members’ (13 to 21 years) boating skills and knowledge through instruction and practice in water safety, boating skills, outdoor, social and service experiences and knowledge of our maritime heritage.
  • Circle of Friends of the Gulfport Library. Supports the Gulfport Public Library through fundraising and volunteer efforts, enhancing library services and programs.
  • Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Educates residents about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area, promoting community resilience.
  • Enroy Foundation. A nonprofit organization focused on community development and support, aiming to empower individuals and families in Gulfport.
  • First Tuesday Clothing Swap in Gulfport. A monthly community event promoting sustainable fashion by allowing participants to exchange clothing items; proceeds benefit CASA, supporting domestic violence survivors.
  • Funky Flamingo Food Pantry. A local deli that operates a food pantry to assist residents facing food insecurity, especially in the aftermath of natural disasters.
  • Fusion 49. An arts and culture initiative aiming to bring together diverse communities through creative expression and collaboration.
  • Get Rescued. An animal rescue organization dedicated to saving and rehoming pets, as well as promoting animal welfare through community events.
  • Gulfport Art Center. Get involved with the arts in Gulfport.
  • Gulfport Big Dog Park. A spacious, fenced area where large dogs can play off-leash, featuring shaded seating and water stations for pets and owners.
  • Gulfport Brewery Run Club
  • Gulfport Community Garden. A volunteer-driven garden providing fresh produce to the community and serving as an educational resource for sustainable gardening practices.
  • Gulfport Community Labyrinth. A serene space for meditation and reflection, offering residents and visitors a place for peace and contemplation.
  • Gulfport Gecko Amalgamated Marching Band. A lively community band known for its spirited performances at local events, celebrating Gulfport’s unique culture.
  • Gulfport Florida Artists. A group created for artists and art buyers to interact, share ideas, display and sell their work, and sell or share supplies. All artists and art lovers from the Gulfport, Fl area are welcome to join. This forum is for art, please try to stay within those boundaries. Any skill levels are welcome. The goal is to encourage creativity, productivity, and support
  • Gulfport Florida Pride. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to celebrating diversity and promoting equality through education, advocacy, and support. They organize the annual Gulfport Pride event, showcasing LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.
  • Gulfport Food Forest. A community-based organization focusing on sustainable agriculture and food production, creating urban food forests to promote environmental stewardship.
  • Gulfport Grassroots. Engages in community activism and environmental initiatives, striving to create a sustainable and inclusive Gulfport.

  • Gulfport Yacht Club. Focuses on smaller, performance-oriented boats up to 25 feet, offering dry and wet slips, regular racing series, and special events.
  • Gulfportlandia. A citizen-led collective focused on placemaking, amplifying community-led endeavors, and nurturing new initiatives in Gulfport.
  • Jax In And Out. A neighborhood café that extends its services by providing food assistance to community members in need.
  • Kiwanis Gulfport. Part of Kiwanis International, this club focuses on serving the children of the world through various service projects and community involvement.
  • Little League. Provides youth baseball programs, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement among children and families.

  • MY (Michael Yakes) Gulfport Foundation. Named after a former Gulfport mayor, this foundation supports youth programs, education, and community development projects.

  • New Horizons Band of Gulfport. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds to support programs and services at the Gulfport Senior Center, promoting active and socially rewarding lifestyles for seniors.
  • OUT: Arts and Culture (LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Library) Provides a welcoming communal space for the LGBTQ+ population, offering resources, programs, and cultural events.
  • Plein Air Painters. This group is for Gulfport artist’s that paint from life outdoors in and around our little town. Urban sketchers are welcome. You don’t need to be from Gulfport to post but we would like to keep the artwork regional.
  • ProjectFree. Focuses on providing arts and cultural programs to underserved communities, fostering creativity and inclusion through various initiatives.
  • Seniors in Service. Engages volunteers aged 55 and older in meaningful service opportunities, enhancing the lives of both volunteers and those they serve.
  • St. Pete MAD. Provides inclusive arts education and performance opportunities, fostering creativity and community engagement.
  • St. Vincent’s Thrift Shop. Provides low-cost goods to the community, with profits funding assistance programs for those in need.
  • Sophie’s Attic. Operated by the First United Methodist Church, offering affordable clothing and household items; proceeds support local outreach programs.
  • Walden Private Middle School. An independent school offering a personalized and experiential learning environment for middle school students.
