Short-term rentals are not allowed citywide by default. Gulfport’s zoning code works on a “listed uses only” basis:
- Only uses specifically listed as allowed in a zoning district are
permitted. - If a use is not listed, it is prohibited.
As a result, short-term rentals are permitted only in certain zoning districts and, in some cases, only with additional approvals.
