LGBTQ Resource Center Membership

The LGBTQ Resource Center is committed to promoting awareness of the diversity of experiences, contributions and needs of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer. We do this by providing educational, social and recreational opportunities through the Gulfport Public Library, including books, films, music, speakers, exhibitions and other events, as well as an online presence.
The LGBTQ Resource Center collection is available at the Gulfport Public Library and can be accessed and checked out during regular library hours or online.
Offering more than 10,000 LGBTQ books, videos, DVDs, and CDs.
ArtOut:
A month-long exhibit in the library featuring the work of local artists in June.
BranchOut:
An Annual $1000 Scholarship awarded to a local LGBTQ student.
ShoutOut:
A Quarterly Newsletter highlighting Resource Center events and new library acquisitions.
ReadOut:
A Festival of LGBTQ Literature held annually in February with additional workshops and programs throughout the year.

Live performances of LGBTQ actors. musicians, speakers, comedians, drag performers, and much more!
Free Content & Events Including:
- Monthly Film Series that features LGBTQ films and documentaries
- Day and evening programming on topics of special interest
- Annual holiday concert
- Pride and National Coming Out Day Celebrations
