The Resource Center’s mission is to provide a welcoming communal space to increase awareness of and advocacy for the LGBTQ Community of Gulfport and Pinellas County.

The LGBTQ Resource Center collection is available at the Gulfport Public Library and can be accessed and checked out during regular library hours or online.

Offering more than 7,000 LGBTQ books, videos, DVDs, and CDs.

ArtOut:

A month-long exhibit in the library featuring the work of local artists in June.

BranchOut:

An Annual $1000 Scholarship awarded to a local LGBTQ student.

ShoutOut:

A Quarterly Newsletter highlighting Resource Center events and new library acquisitions.

ReadOut:

A Lesbian Literary Festival held annually in February.
