Public Records and Email

Under Florida law (Florida Senate Bill SB 80 – effective July 1, 2006), e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to the City of Gulfport. Instead, contact the appropriate agency in the city by calling 727-893-1000.

E-mail communications made through e-mail and messaging system links contained on this site shall in no way be deemed to constitute legal notice to the city of Gulfport. E-mail directly to city staff may be used to address business issues and content on this site.

Privacy Policy

All records of the state or political subdivisions of the state are open for public inspection and copying, subject to certain exemptions. Mobile Application Privacy Notice

The City of Gulfport provides a mobile application powered by CivicPlus and SeeClickFix to facilitate service requests, communication, and community engagement. Information submitted through the app, including but not limited to name, contact details, location data, and service request content, may be collected and processed by the City and its third-party service providers (CivicPlus and SeeClickFix) solely for the purpose of responding to requests and improving municipal services. These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard user data and use it only in accordance with applicable laws and the City’s privacy practices. By using the application, users consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
