City of Gulfport: Arbor Day Celebration

The City of Gulfport will continue its tradition of celebrating Arbor Day by giving the gift of trees to residents during a monthly tree giveaway starting Friday, December 1st, 2023 at 3:45 p.m. at the Gulfport Recreation Center, 5730 Shore Boulevard South.

The City of Gulfport Arbor Day Celebration encourages individual and community involvement at both the time of planting and beyond, generating a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship. Become a part of a growing number of residents helping to create a greener future for our beautiful City by planting a tree from the Arbor Day Celebration.

To request a free tree, please attend the City of Gulfport Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, December 1 at 3:45 p.m. behind the Gulfport Recreation Center. In return, each resident must agree to be responsible for maintaining the tree planted. Proof of residency (driver’s license or water bill) is required to participate.
