Thank you for the opportunity to attend the FLC Annual Conference.
There were two general sessions, each with an excellent keynote speaker. There was well over one hundred exhibitors, constant workshops and sessions, and countless opportunities to talk with Mayors, Councilmembers, Commissioners, and City Managers from other Florida cities which allowed me to learn about their operations and practices.
Sessions and workshops attended:
- Joint Legislative Meeting / The Importance of Property Taxes
- AI in Action: Practical Tools for Smarter Local Government
- Veterans of the Dais: Best Practices from Experienced City Leaders
- Understanding Florida DOGE: What Cities Need to Know
- Marketing Your City: Stories, Strategies, and Spotlight Moments
- Inside the Process: Navigating Florida’s Legislative Landscape
- Emotional Intelligence for Effective Public Leadership
