State Certified Contractors

Effective June 24, 2024, state certified contractors do not have to register or renew their registrations with PCCLB to work in Pinellas County. While you no longer are required to register or renew your registration with the PCCLB, you are still required to register with the City of Gulfport in order to be able to pull a building permit or schedule inspections on our online portal. Please email gpcontractors@mygulfport.us (company name, certificate of insurance, worker’s compensation or exemption, license number, address, phone number, email) if you have never performed work in Gulfport and/or have not pulled permits in the city since June 2024.

PCCLB Certified Contractors whose license was dissolved by PCCLB, the same process outlined above applies except the City will register you as a contractor and require a $15 fee.
